The Adventures of Micah and Jared: Year in Review 2017

This past year was crazy and recording our life took a back seat. However, I know that the kids and I like looking back over past blogs and since I don't keep photo books, this is our on going album. So to make up for slacking this year, I decided to do a mega post with our year in review. Here is goes...

First, in January before the kids went back to school we took a trip to Ottawa. It was an amazing trip that included checking out museums, swimming at the hotel, walking along the canal (ice was not ready for skating yet) and going to an Oilers/ Senators hockey game.

January, February and March was back to the regular routine of school and work and of course we added fun where ever we could.

Micah and Jared first real movie theatre experience. We went to see Lego Batman.

Micah and Jared took 8 week ski lessons on Sunday afternoons at a local hill.

Family Day yoga resulted in many giggles.

Micah performed at his first piano competition. He did an amazing job.

For Spring break we went to Phoenix to visit my parents. My sister was able to join us for a few days. While we were there we took a trip with my parents to the Grand Canyon, which was an amazing.

In preparing for the move back West, I ended my work and spent a wonderful summer with the kids.

Micah and Jared's 11 year old cousin from Kelowna came to visit for a weekend. He is an avid Blue Jays fan and wanted to go to a Blue Jays fame. We also took him to the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Ontario Science Centre.
