One of our favourite Toronto spots....

One of our favourite Toronto spots to hang out on a Saturday morning is the Evergreen Brickworks. When we were living downtown it was a beautiful walk from our old place and we would go quite often; however, we have had such a busy summer that we hadn't gone since moving so we were trilled to enjoy a sunny autumn morning at this Toronto gem on Saturday. There is a wonderful farmers market, live music, kids garden, and places to climb, build, and get dirty. Here are a few pictures from this past Saturday....

Alaska July 2013

This summer I (Pamela) went on a Alaskan Cruise with my grandma, mom, and sister. It was on my grandma's 'bucket list' and I treasure the opportunity I had to go with her. Here are a few photos of the trip.
Grandma and I at dinner. The food was amazing and the views were always spectacular.

Puzzling in the library on the ship.

Two of the most important women in my life.

Almost 90 and my grandma still has a great sense of humour.

Micah's First Day of School

On Wednesday Micah had his first day of Kindergarten. He is enrolled in our local public school and is in the morning program. The first day caregivers were allowed to come along to meet the teacher and check out the classroom. On the walk home from school, Micah shared that he was so excited to go home and tell Jared all about Kindergarten. Today was Micah's first day by himself. Micah was excited and I was happy for him; however, Jared was not so trilled that Micah went in the school building without him. After dropping Micah off, Jared cried and kept asking for Micah. Micah was in such a good mood after school that he skipped all the way home. All and all I could not have asked for a better start to such an important milestone in his life.
