This year we spent Christmas and New Years with the Olfert's. As a family holiday tradition we spent a week skiing/snowboarding. It was so wonderful. This was the first year that both boys were on skis. Micah is getting the hang of it and Jared was trilled just to be doing what Micah and his cousins were doing. It was a special time to hang out with family. Both Micah and Jared loved spending time with all their cousins. For weeks afterwards, they would talk about their cousins and how much they missed them. Ryan and I also got a day to spend on the hill kid free... it had been years since we had gone snowboarding together and it was lovely to reconnect doing something that was so much part of our "before babies" life. Now that the kids are getting older we look forward to doing more snowboarding together as a couple and as a family. We are so grateful for Ryan's parents for hosting us and providing such wonderful family memories.
