Grandma and Grandpa's Visit

For the September long weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Knelsen came for a quick visit. We did a day trip to St. Jacob, went on a harbour cruise, and just hung out. Grandma baked up a storm which left us with yummy buns and cookies. We were sad to see them go and look forward to seeing them at Christmas.

Farm August 2016

It has become our tradition that every other summer we spend a week at the Olfert farm. The kids had a blast hanging out with their cousins and enjoying the freedom that comes with farm life. We had a huge scare at the end of our trip when Jared fell out of the barn loft onto the cement pad below. Miraculously, he landed on his feet and didn't break any bones. He limped for a few weeks afterwards; however, is now back to his active self.
